ABOUT THE SHOW
A staged reading with originally composed and live performed music of Ben Hamilton’s three short plays, on the highly relevant theme of War in Europe – most particularly Brexit and its impact and significance in the context of Europe and the European Union.
Using a past-present-and-future timeline, the audience meets three couples in intimate settings and explores how a country’s quest for a brighter future resulted in self-destruction. As a mixture of comedy, drama and political satire, the play is a thought-provoking analysis and ironic commentary on the highly relevant theme of Europe and the European Union.
Presented by an international collective of artists, the production combines a European mix of multilingual performers and artists who themselves have swapped borders, moved around and contribute to an EU and post-Brexit European reality.
Duration: 90 min.
CHARITY CAUSE
Entrance is free but proceeds from contributions by the audience will be donated to the following charity cause:
– an international, registered, charity organisation in Denmark who work with teaching and creating music with refugee children from all over the world and the vulnerable in society. The organisation promotes themes of acceptance and mutual respect.
